Outdoor Kitchen Grills
The backbone to any southwest Florida outdoor kitchen is a good stainless steel outdoor grill. These grills can range in price from the very affordable to the highly extravagant. All outdoor kitchens are born with a well placed barbecue location and expand from there. Don’t get hung up on the grill as the center attraction as it gets hot and smoky and can be an annoying place to be while the grilling is going on. Put the grill to the side and keep the space open and away from smoke. There are several other options to consider when planning your outdoor kitchen based on the space you have available. The most common feature that you will encounter while choosing an outdoor grill is the BTU or British Thermal Unit. A BTU is used to describe the heat value of fuels and the cooking power that a grill has. You will want at least 95 to 100 BTU’s per square inch of cooking space to get your money’s worth.
