Stone Outdoor Kitchens That Look Like They've Been Part of Your Home Forever

Start Your Design

The most natural, high-end finish in the backyard.

Nothing anchors an outdoor kitchen like real texture. Stacked ledger panels, earthy tones, and depth you can run your hand across — a stone finish turns a cooking station into the centerpiece of your backyard.

Is Stone Right for You?

A stone finish is the move if you want:

  • An upscale, organic look with real depth and shadow — not a flat surface

  • Earthy, natural tones that pair with pavers, water features, and tropical landscaping

  • A finish that reads "custom and high-end" the moment guests walk up

  • Durable curb appeal that holds its character for years

If you're weighing finishes, stone sits a step above stucco on look and budget, and pairs beautifully with a stone or granite countertop. (Comparing options? See Tile, Stucco, or the full finish guide)

Natural Stone vs. Cultured Stone

You've got two ways to get the look:

Natural stone is exactly that — quarried stone, with one-of-a-kind variation in color and texture across every piece. It comes in panels or individual stones depending on the look you're after, and delivers unmatched, genuine character.

Cultured stone is a man-made product engineered to mimic natural stone, available in a wide range of colors, textures, and styles — from rustic to modern. It's typically the more budget-friendly path to a stone look, with more consistency piece to piece.

We're direct dealers for many stone manufacturers and importers, so you've got the full range to choose from. We'll walk you through which makes sense for your look and your budget.

The Craftsmanship Behind a Stone Finish

Natural stone is the most labor-intensive finish we install — and the detail is where it earns its look:

  • Stacked stone or whole stones in a wide variety of patterns and natural earth tones

  • Precision-cut ledger panels affixed into modular, interlocking sections for tight, clean lines and the perfect balance of rustic and modern

  • Coping that lets us wrap stone around any custom kitchen shape — 22.5°, 45°, or 90° angles, columns, and returns included

  • Color-matched grout filling any gaps or minor openings for a seamless finish

  • A natural complement to backsplashes and column additions

Every piece is set on our structural aluminum framing — plumb, level, and square — so the finish lays in flawlessly.

"Wow! What a gorgeous piece of art… always a concern for what you want and need! No need to shop elsewhere — they're the best!" — Steve Stone, Google Review

Built to Last in Florida

Stone is a durable, long-lasting finish that stands up to Florida's heat, humidity, and salt air while holding its curb appeal. Set on rust-proof structural aluminum with zero combustible materials, your stone kitchen is engineered for the elements — and properly sealed where it counts so it keeps its color and character for the long haul.

Stone can be used as accents with porcelain tiles to achieve a transitional look and feel.

What Does a Stone Outdoor Kitchen Cost?

Stone generally runs a step above stucco, mostly because of the hand-craftsmanship involved — cultured stone keeps it more budget-friendly, natural stone is the premium end. Where you land depends on the stone you choose, the size of your kitchen, and your countertop pairing.
