How do you know if you can trust someone to work for you?
Faith "in something" is the foundation of human existence, and Trust is the foundation for every relationship. In today's world, where truths are based on beliefs regardless of facts, how do we know who to trust?
Trust is the emotion where our hopes, dreams, or aspirations tangle with our deepest fears of betrayal or getting ripped off. Trust is like a teetering scale on a tiny pivot point. Often we must assume Trust in an instant. It can take years to build, seconds to destroy, and more than a lifetime to re-build.
It's a horrible feeling to see money go down the drain.
Trust between you and a company is no different than Trust between you and a friend. Trust, like love, cannot be measured. A single human representative of a company is your first evaluation of an entire organization. Each encounter you have with additional representatives of that organization gives you a more in-depth insight into how trustworthy a company is. Consistency in conversations and communications, mutual respect, integrity, and constructive confrontation are the main ingredients you're using to determine to Trust a contractor with your hard-earned money.
